She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kelly Elmo and Clara Freda Melton Vass; her husband Frank Edwards of Galax, Virginia; her daughter Shelley Edwards; her son-in-law Chris Goad of Woodlawn, Virginia; her son Gregory Franklin; her daughter-in-law Paige Riddle Edwards of Waynesboro, Virginia; her grandchildren, Tori Goad, Cameron Goad, Cullen Edwards and Carson Edwards; her sister Linda Jane; and her brother-in-law Roger Dale Burcham of Galax, Virginia. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, the Oakland Cemetery or the Mt. Valley Hospice.
