She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carmel and Virginia Wilson Parrish; and her brother Jerry Charles Parrish. She is survived by: her son Chris; her daughter-in-law Lorie Hennis of Galax, Virginia; her daughter Ann Smith of Mt Airy; her sister Patty Byrd of Galax; her grandchildren, Michael Smith, Andrew, Faith, Kenzi and Trinity Hennis; and her friends, Lib Russell, Tracy McMickle and Linda Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church East Stuart (1024 E Stuart Dr, Galax, VA 24333). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
