He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Frederick and Dorothy Dudley Zeh; his stepdaughter Maria Murray; and his brother David Zeh. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Wright Zeh of Galax, Virginia; his children, Amy (Kevin Slate), Lori (Todd Poole), Rachel "Neeky" (Nick Donaldson) and David; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Zeh of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister Sarah; his brother-in-law Ron Germaine of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Abby Slate (Samuel Slate), Tyler (Charity Mathews), Morgan Mathews (Cade), Hannah Poole (McKenna Poole), Nicholas Donaldson, Jr. (Wayne Donaldson) and Lacy Donaldson (Nicholas Medina); and his great grandchildren, Maverick Mathews, Ember Mathews, Saige Mathews and Kolsen Baskerville. He is also survived by three nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
