He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Westmoreland and Evelyn Breen Westmoreland; and his sister Leola Graham. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson Westmoreland; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Brad Dillon of Galax, VA; his grandchildren, Spencer Dillon, Sidney Rose Dillon and Zoe Dillon; and his siblings, Ronnie (Jackie), Donnie (Sue), Tommy, Nancy Graham and Teresa Pettus (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
