He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Bruce and Gladys Hawks Wright of Virginia; and his wife Barbara June Hawkins Wright. He is survived by: his children, Tammy (Randy Williams) of Galax, Virginia, Anita Wright of Galax, Virginia and Tim; his daughter-in-law Angie Wright of Floyd, Virginia; his siblings, Peggy Truitt of North Carolina, Maxine Robinson of Ossipp, Betty Holder of Mt Airy, Nancy Johnson of Galax, Virginia, Hascal (Ann Wright), Dale Wright of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Bill (Barbara Wright); and his grandchildren, Katie Lamb, Kenny Lamb, Allison Purdue, Annalee Owen and Andrew Owen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
