He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amburs Dickens and Naomi Lundy Dickens; his wife Vera Kaye Ross Dickens of Galax, Virginia; and his daughters, Jaclyn Rose Dickens of Bristol and Donnita Kaye Dickens of Calgary, Canada. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
