She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Jackson Mitchell and Guida Higgins Mitchell; her brother William Mitchell (Billy); and her husband Robert "Bob" Fielder. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise F. Willis (Gary) and Cheryl M. Fielder; her grandchildren, Brittany King (Christopher) and Brett Willis; her great grandchild Braden Kane; and her sister Doris Davis of Low Gap. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
