She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Ray Melton and Lesta Graham Bennett. She is survived by: her husband Garnett S. McKenzie of Galax, Virginia; her daughters, Pippa (Harry Smith), Andrea (Gary Ramey) and Amanda (Brad Prosser); her brother Tuck; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Melton of Ashtabula, Ohio, Agnes McKenzie and Virginia McKenzie of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
