She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomas and Donna Lee Lyons Christman; her husband Carl Lawrence Funk; and her daughter Melissa Funk. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Newman of Galax, Virginia and Kim Iroler of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Freedom (David Leath), Summer (Jamie Brewer) and Heidi Rodrigquez. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
