She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Alexander Thomas and Ruth Ham Thomas, Jr.; her husband Charles Jackson; and her brother Lynwood Thomas. She is survived by: her son Timothy Davis of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Maekayla Dalton, Jessica Sizemore, James Cowell and Jeromy Cowell. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
