With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Davis Larue of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Jehu LaRue, Sr. and Thelma Alma Funk LaRue. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Byrd LaRue; his children, Terri LaRue Painter (Burton), Kelly LaRue Melton (Terry) and Jason Davis LaRue; his grandchildren, Charly Frost (David), Frankie Roop (Sharon), Daniel Hall (Marisa), Jacob Melton, Jessica Melton and Lindsey Cockerham (Josh); his great grandchildren, Reagan Frost, Addison Roop, Landon Bergeron and Ian Isom; and his close friends, Sam and Sylvie Wilson.
