She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie (John Bates) and Arlene (Gregory Horton); her grandchildren, Miles Bates of Winston-Salem, NC, Ivan Bates (Stephanie) and Alexandra Horton (Jonathan Foster) of Fancy Gap; her great grandchildren, Molly Roten, Adlei Bates and Marilyn Foster; and her sister Sue Phillips (Roy Goad) of Galax. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
