It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Morris Killon Jr. of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Killen; his former wife Janice Combs Killon; and his sisters, Jama Bartley, Jeanette Lineberry and Jean Shuping.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Kirby Killon; his sons, Joe (Kathy Killon) and Steve (Debbie Killon); his brother Eddie Killen of Dobson; and his grandchildren, Drew (Taylor Killon), Seth, Leslie Killon, Stefan Killon, Scott Parks, Tracy Snow and Jake Snyder. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to Mt. Vale Memorial Cemetery.
