Edith Pauline Burcham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, Edith Pauline Burcham of Galax, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Wiley and Edith Smith South; her husband Willard Burcham; her siblings, Lilly South, Imogene Lowe, Roy, Howard and Wilmer South; and her grandson Frankie Burcham.
She is survived by: her children, Becky (Larry Doby), Joyce Coley (late Alan Coley) of King, Wiley (Wanda Burcham) and Larry (Barbara Burcham); and her sisters, Irene Shupe and Norene (David Long). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Mrs. Burcham may be made to either Blue Ridge Chapel Church or the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
