It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Ann Smith of Galax, Virginia, born in New Castle, Delaware, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Swanson and Myrtle Tarbutton Swanson; her husband Bobby G. Smith, Sr. of Galax, Virginia; her daughter Mildred Nagel; her son-in-law Kevin of Wellington, Ohio; her son Bobby G. Smith, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Eileen of Smyrna, Delaware; her sons, J. D. Smith (Ann Hodge) of Wilmington, Delaware and Randy Joe Smith of Galax, Virginia; her siblings, Barbara Fender of Bare, Delaware and Carl F. Swanson; and her sister-in-law Cathy of Middleton, Delaware. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
