He is survived by: his children, Kathy Marsh, Rebecca Vaughan-Funk (Brian), Robbie Vaughan (Teresa Anauo) and Richard Vaughan (Penny Mooney); his siblings, Betty Mauer of Oregon, Phyllis (Roy Bourne), Ella (Robert Miller), Carolyn (Saford Hawks), Ricky (Rita Vaughan) of Galax, Virginia, Ronnie Vaughan of Galax, Virginia, Charles Vaughan of Galax, Virginia, Gaither (Jan Vaughan) of Galax, Virginia and Billy Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Helen Hodge and Wade Hodge; and his grandchildren, Katie Ali of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brett Anauo of Sylvatus, Virginia, Jessica Alkaya of Germany, Roger Alley of Galax, Virginia and Alex Vaughan-Funk of Galax, Virginia. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
