We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2023, at the age of 88, David Obediah Leonard of Galax, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Champion Leonard and Callie Bourne Leonard; his wife Betty Jo Smith Leonard; his children, Tammie Jo Hazelwood and Richard Sheldon Leonard; and his siblings, Virginia Sandy, Frances Frick, Mary Leonard, Oklen Leonard and Floyd Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughter Katrina Leonard Holbrook; his son-in-law Patrick of Collinsville, Virginia; and his son Jack Leonard of Fries, Virginia..
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mt. Valley Hospice or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
