She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Larue and Leona Davis Larue; her husband Homer Edfard Adkins; her daughter Melissa Mabe; and her siblings, Virginia Amstutz, Rudca Larue, Oscar Larue and Lester Larue.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Baumgardner of Galax, Virginia, Glenn Adkins, David (Doris Adkins) and Scott (Kristi Adkins); and her grandchildren, Hayley Adkins, Ashley Skoski, Mark Baumgardner, Michelle Swinney, Jason Adkins, Shannon Edwards, Chris Bullion and Kevin Bullion. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
