He is survived by: his daughter Angela Marie Holderfield; his siblings, Shirley Alford, Judy Elliott, Peggy Shaffer, Eric Allen Lawson and James Carl Lawson; and his granddaughter Ivy Marie Lawson.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
