It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Lenora Bishop of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvania Robinette (Steele) and Cleveland Robinette; her husband Oley Bishop; her sons, James and Clinton; and her siblings, Pearl Bailey, Sealy Reed, Esther Justice, Louise Jude, Barbara Collins, Jessie, Lawrence and Clarence Robinette.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Melanie Bishop (Goodson); and her daughters, Alice Pettit, Brenda Cline (Bobby) and Barbara Danley (David). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
