With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Mae Cox of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Petty and Lillian Rakes Petty; and her husband Bill Cox. She is survived by: her daughter Margo Semones of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Becky Hampton (Robert), Robert Semones and Brooke Jimenez (AJ); her great grandchild Britt (Megan); her grandchildren, Bekah (Isaac), Lilianna, Nevaeh, Phoenix, Daniella and Malachi; and her close friend T. F. Rutherford. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
