With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Dixon Tilley of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie James and Hazel Billings Dixon; her husband James Paul Tilley of Galax, Virginia; her sons, Gary (Nurdal Tilley) and Dennis (Judy Tilley); her siblings, Mary Martin of Galax, Virginia, Sally Rakes of Galax, Virginia, Nancy Salcido of Fries, Virginia, Alex Dixon of Knoxville Tennessee and Griggs (Trish Dixon); her grandchildren, Alis Tilley, Andrew Tilley of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Ethan Tilley of Galax, Virginia; and her great grandchild Jesse James Tilley of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Due to CDC recommendations mask and social distancing will be required at the service.
