It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Tompkins of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocherd Charlie and Eva Bill Combs Eastridge; and her husband Wayne Tompkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah (Bennie Davis) and Tiffany (Ira Rycroft); her grandchildren, Ava and Ira Rycroft, Jr.; and her close friends, Seamus, Pippin, Pookie, Fergus and Coco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
