She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Porter and Maggie Burnette Porter; her husband Dan Patton; and her siblings, Oleta Claytor, Clella Bryant and Joe Porter.
She is survived by: her son Robert Patton (Judy Jones); her brother Ray; and her sisters-in-law, Mabel Porter of Galax, Virginia and Selma Patton. She is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Felts Memorial Cemetery (846 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
