It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Clair Varley of Gainesville, Virginia, born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Clair Varley and Rosamond Weaver Varley. He is survived by: his wife Marabeth Adams Varley (Marby); his children, Terrell Thomas Varley (Valerie) and Kathleen Varley Leslie (Kevin); his grandchildren, Brandon T. Varley, Blaine T. Varley, Reese T. Varley, Helena A. Leslie and John M. Leslie; his brother Orville W. Varley (Beverly); and his siblings-in-law, Richard G. Adams (Kathy) and Kathleen Deming (Poe). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
