Though Stephen Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Murphy Maltman and Edward Spencer Maltman; his son Stephen Michael Maltman II; and his granddaughter Sydney Emaline Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lynn Martin Maltman; his brothers, Richard Maltman and Craig Maltman; his children, Matthew Edward Maltman (Valerie Anne) and Kristin Lynn Maltman Zimmerman (Carson Freas); and his grandson Edward Michael Zimmerman. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 13451 Fieldstone Way, Gainesville, VA 20155.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the National Park Foundation and American Heart Association.
