She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Hurst and Gladys Alma Christensen; her brother Bill Christensen; and her former husband Frederick Shrader. She is survived by: her children, Denice Shrader (Dalton McKenzie), Kenny Shrader (Connie J.) and Phyllis Anne Shrader-Robinson (John "Ted"); and her grandchildren, Amanda M. Shrader Atlee (David) and Jared R. Shrader.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Heart Association in memory of Phyllis M. Shrader.
