It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Elaine Matthews of Gainesville, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Lafayette and Elmer Lafayette. She is survived by: her husband Bill Matthews; her sons, Mike (Karen) of Sherman, CT and Jeff (Heather) of Gainesville, VA; her brother Robert Lafayette (Christa) of Redmond, WA; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Kaleb, Liam, Noah, Luke and Hannah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (6903 Blantyre Rd, Warrenton, VA 20187).
