It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Shamus Jr. (Gainesville, Virginia), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Annette; his parents, Michael Shamus and Helen Shamus (Stancavage); and his siblings, Anna Houser, Helen Kalbarczyk and Leonard Shamus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann M. Shamus and Megan A. Schlitt (Danny); and his grandchildren, Daniel and Annette.
