She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ernest L. Brooks, Jr.; and her children, Ernest L. Brooks, III, William M. Brooks (Frances), Linda Ficks (Wayne), Thomas A. Brooks, Patricia Tankersley (David) and Steven W. Brooks (Samantha). She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
