It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Kress of Gainesville, Virginia, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Nicholson and Malvina L. Nicholson. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie K. (Jeffrey Becker) and Joann K. (Michael Hardy); her grandchildren, Ryan Becker, Nicholas Hardy and Lily Hardy; her sister Karen; her brother-in-law Robert Wardrop of Newington, CT; her nephew James Wardrop of Cromwell, CT.; and her family, Virginia and Kathy.
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family requests that consideration be given to making a donation in Kathleen's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
