It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Andrew Short of Gainesville, Virginia, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maud, Ollie Short of Louisa, Anna and William Kenney of Centerville, Massachusetts.. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth, Adeline and Charlotte; his parents, John Marie and Ann Marie; his brothers, Matthew (Noreen) and David (Jessica); his nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Harry, Margo, Teddy, Caroline, Margaret and Maud; his aunt Kathleen Kenney; and his uncle Paul Kenney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UVA Cancer Center where a fund has been created in John Andrew's honor.
