She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene Wilhelm and Edith Marr Carter; and her brothers, Robert "Bob" Peel, William "Joe" Peel and David Peel.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Herzog; her son Brian Herzog; her daughter-in-law Juliet Herzog (Swanson); her brother David Wilhelm; and her grandsons, Jonathan Leake and Kenneth "Buddy" Olson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and two godchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
