She was predeceased by: her father Danny Mills Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Doris Mills; her husband Robert Poynter; her children, Emily Poynter and Cullen Poynter; her daughter-in-law Kaitlyn Poynter; her grandson Lucas Poynter; and her brothers, Danny Mills Jr. and Darin Mills.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be contributed to The American Heart Association.
