It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alease Elizabeth Carter of Gainesville, Virginia, born in Front Royal, Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Jackson and Genevieve "Judy" Newman Jackson; her siblings, Ambrose Jackson Jr. and Mary Virginia Jackson; and her aunts and uncles, Edith Jackson, Gladys Newman, Louise Adams, Rev. James E. Newman and Francis Newman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lawr, Carter-Walton (Kelvin) and Cathy Dunlop (Todd); her brother Eugene Jackson; her grandchildren, Amber Sanchez (Oscar), Aubrey Carter, Autumn Walton and Angel Walton; and her great grandchildren, Mateo Sanchez, Sebastian Sanchez, Mya Sanchez and Camilla Sanchez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
