She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Z. Chapman and LaRue Long Chapman. She is survived by: her siblings, Paul, Kelley Zirkle and Shirley Pierce; her husband Elmer Stoops, Jr.; her children, Lori Crouse (Brian) of Broadway, Kelley Hijjeh of Harrisonburg, Sarah Hijjeh (Ryan Conradi), Amber Stoops (Jesse) of Timberville, Andrew Hijjeh (Morgan) of Timberville, Michael Hijjeh of Harrisonburg and Kaitlyn Green (David) of Harrisonburg; her stepchildren, David Stoops of Waynesboro, Jesse Stoops of Timberville and Edith Stoops of Charlotte, NC; and her sister Sharon Souder (Richard) of Rockingham County. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
