He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Beulah Moyers Trout of Virginia; and his spouse Shirley Ann Cordell. He is survived by: his children, Joseph L. Trout, Jr. (Maria Rowena) of Fulks Run, James Trout (Donna) of Fulks Run and Cindy Trout of Broadway; his grandsons, Matthew Trout (Crissy) of Fulks Run and Michael Trout (Laura) of New Market; and his great grandchildren, Tucker and Travis Trout. He is also survived by six siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
