He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Shifflett and Elsie Shifflett (Dean); his wife Judy Shifflett; and his daughter Tanya Shifflett. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Shifflett Jr., Angie Shifflett, Stacey Shifflett (Echo) and Felicia Shifflett Dennison (Shawn); and his close friend Janet Sier. He is also survived by one sister; four brothers; six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to McMullen Funeral Home, 5784 Greenmount Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22802, to help offset expenses.
