He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pascal and Dorothy "Dot" Edith Small Spitler; his grandson James; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Spitler. He is survived by: his children, Edy Long (Emmett) of New Market, Carla Monger (Neil) of Elkton, Danny Spitler of Staunton and Cara Atkins of Fulks Run; his grandchildren, Laura Waldron (Zachary), Kyle Monger (Melissa), Tyler Long (Rachel), Dillon Long (Elise), Cole Monger (Maddie) and Merrick Spitler; his great grandchildren, Henry, Ellnora, Walter, Hattie Belle, Hazel, Ethel Waldron, Rebecca and Chloe Long; his sisters, Betty Ellen Hancher (William) of Jacob Pascal, Mary Etta Spitler-Segar and Denise Spitler; and his close friends, Yen Bautista, Dave and Jo Kyger.
