It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Daniel Lee Slater of Fulks Run, Virginia, born in Mathias, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Vickie Cullers Slater Magill; his wife Reba Dare Fulk Slater; his daughter Margo Slater Miller; and his sister Anna Slater Whitmore.
He is survived by: his son Danny Lee Slater (Donna) of Fulks Run; his grandchildren, Anthony Slater, Melissa Hildebrand, Shawn of Melfa, VA, Stephanie Fink, David of Broadway, Crystal Slater-Locklear, Mark of Lumberton, NC, Brent Slater and Krista of Broadway; his great grandchildren, Lewis, Lee, Lance, Lane Slater, Cameron, Abigail Hildebrand, Cyrus and Cale Fink; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Saniyah and Viviana Locklear.
