It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Lou Smith of Fulks Run, Virginia, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Fulk and Edith May Biller Fulk; and her siblings, James Fulk, Junior Fulk and Treva Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Carroll H. Smith; her daughters, Bettie Estep (Alvin) of Fulks Run, Debra Woods (Richard) of Fulks Run, Carolyn Hottinger (Durand) of Bergton and Sandra Smith (Rusty) of Timberville; her grandchildren, Brad Estep (Crissy) of Mt. Jackson, Tiffany Estep (Steve) of Fulks Run, Raven Woods (Brent Keener) of Ottobine, Jennifer Mongold (Eric) of Mathias, WV, Ashley Shiflet (Justin) of Fulks Run, Ryan Smith of Timberville and Brandon Smith of Timberville; her great grandchildren, Kallie Estep, Cayleb Armentrout, Rylik Armentrout, Natalie Keener, Landen Mongold, Garrett Mongold, Parker Shiflet and Hadley Shiflet; her sisters, Geniveve Holsinger of Broadway and Catherine Anderson of Broadway; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Fulk and Janice Fulk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
