He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Adams and Laura Bolling Adams; and his siblings, Doyle Adams, Ivis Adams Hayes, Elva Adams and Vina Adams Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Stanley Adams; his daughters, Carol Major (Rocky) of Stafford and Wanda Adams-Martin (Beau) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his brother Bobby Adams (Annette) of Eolia, Kentucky; and his grandsons, Kent Adam Oakey of Virginia Beach and Logan Stanley Major of Stafford, Virginia..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hope Free Will Baptist Church (75 Cedar Park Ct, Front Royal, VA 22630). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
