With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tonia Annette Wathen of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 1, 2022 at the age of 60. She was predeceased by: her father William "Buck" Brooks; and her siblings, Neva Thomas, Troy Brooks and Tony Brooks. She is survived by: her stepfather Glen Meadows of Fredericksburg; her significant other Ed Holloway of Front Royal; her daughter Christa Wathen (Brian Schmidt) of Front Royal; her sisters, Wanda Haskins of Dover and Sherri Taylor of Spotsylvania, Virginia; her grandchildren, Marcus of Front Royal, Amiyah of Front Royal, Chloe of Front Royal and Alayah of Front Royal; her pet Diamond of Fredericksburg; and her son John "Jackie" Wathen of Fredericksburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
