He is survived by: his mother Victoria Wickham Caponiti (Ron) of Rockville, Maryland; his wife Kimberly Ann Mick; his daughters, Brittnie Johnson, Samantha Ayachi (Walid), Gabrielle Coy and Alana Johnson; his brothers, Eric Dejong and Anthony Caponiti (Julia); his grandchildren, Amira Ayachi, Tawfik Ayachi, Emna Ayachi and Elyas Ayachi; his nieces, Daniela Caponiti and Alexandra Caponiti; his nephew Lucas Caponiti; and his aunts and uncles, Patty (Bjorn Koxvold), Bill (Laura Medley), James Medley and JJ Johnson.
