He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sutherland and June Baggett Sutherland; and his siblings, David Sutherland and Carol Cicale. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Henry Sutherland; his daughters, Diane Sutherland Bass (Gary) and Karen Lynne Sutherland; his siblings, Steve Sutherland, Mark Sutherland, Sharon Wideman and Debbie Zavolas; and his grandchildren, Zachary Haun and Lindsey Haun.
