She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hiserman and Nellie Keen Hiserman; her husband Joseph McDonald; and her brother Arthur Alvin Hiserman. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Gilliam (Carlton Clay Gilliam); her close friend Ernest Fogle; and her grandchildren, Samantha Gilliam and Jason Poe. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
