Childress of Strasburg, VA; his grandchildren, Christopher Lawson IV (Sherry), Nathan Lawson (Claire) and Amber Dearing (Jay); and his brothers, Zed (Becky) and Don (Joyce). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
