Though Raymond Gilbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gilbert Carter Sr. and Ruby Clifton Carter-Sheltman; his wife Anna Mae Kline Carter; and his daughter Christine Hinsinger. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia J. Coffey of Front Royal, Judy Riccitelli of Front Royal, Jerry W. Carter of Front Royal, Raymond Gilbert Carter III of Front Royal and Jeffrey M. Carter of Front Royal; and his siblings, Robert Carter of Florida, Lois Marchi of Front Royal, Joyce "Ann" Derflinger of Front Royal and Kenneth Carter. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Panorama Memorial Gardens (4917 Strasburg Rd, Strasburg, VA 22657).
