It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Lorane Childress of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Manassas, Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Agnes and Thomas Aden Jones; and her siblings, Frederick, Carlton, Gilbert, Ralph Jones, Minnie Beavers, Irene Breeden and Doris Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Childress; her children, Paula Zimbro (David Hutto) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chris Lawson of Penn Laird, VA and Robert B. Childress of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren, Amber Dearing, Christopher Lawson, IV and Nathan Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Cody Dearing, Alexis Lawson, Isabel Lawson and Nash Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or The National Kidney Foundation.
