She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Nicholas Atwood and Vallee Rebecca McAbee (Smith); her husbands, Herman Rowland and James Vannoy; her sons, Eddie, Tommy, Wesley and Monty Rowland; and her siblings, Morris E. "Woody" Atwood and Ruth Tonsing.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kimberly Gallego of Ashburn, VA and William Rowland; her great grandchild Alexis; her grandchildren, Evan and Grayson; and her caregivers, Rick Baldwin and Brenda Rankin of Front Royal, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.
